Chelsea held at Stamford Bridge by Liverpool to draw.

Chelsea was held by Liverpool to a 1 - 1 draw at home. The Blues' captain "John Terry" saw the back of the net first in 5th minute of the match after which the Reds' captain equalized at the 45th minute which ended the first half. The second half of the game ended goaless with more of the chances coming from Liverpool. There were also chances created from the Blues' attack but all amounted to nothing. It was Steven Gerrard's last game at Stamford Bridge as he was given a standing ovation when he was being substituted.
